The pictures are pretty, and it's a lovely story. But the storytelling was not engaging. Couldn't keep the kids' attention the way Rechenka's Eggs did. Two months after reading Rechenka's Eggs, they still will bring up details of that story, but not of this one.Product details

Nice description of part of the Orthodox Christian history in Poland. We read this to our children during family story time. The illustrations were lovely. A must have for any Orthodox Christian family's library.
Great book which will be used with a church school class to teach about one of the many Orthodox groups, their history, culture and beliefs. Highly recommended.
